What is MCDA?

The Michigan Community Development Association (MCDA) is a voluntary membership organization representing more than 200 community development professionals.

Dedicated to the exchange of ideas and information, and the development of public policies supportive of community development in accordance with community needs, MCDA holds quarterly meetings to update members on policy, program, legislative, and technical information affecting community development.

Affiliate Organizations

MCDA has developed relationships with two affiliate organizations, the Michigan Housing Rehabilitation Specialists Network (MHRSN) and the Michigan Small Communities Association (MSCA). Through affiliation with these organizations, MCDA is further expanding its communication network across the State of Michigan. MCDA members are entitled to membership in these two organizations at no extra cost.
